But her family owned property in Preston County, W.Va., and Molly was a frequent visitor to the cabin on Cheat Mountain. After an injury prevented her from dancing, Molly turned to documenting a vanishing way of life in Preston County and the nearby Amish Community in western Maryland. The first exhibition of that work was hosted by The Aurora Project in August 2025. Her five decades of work included studying under Martha Graham, teaching at the University of Wisconsin, traveling, demonstrating and lecturing around the world.
